Casual Matches
Casual matches are the simplest way to record your games in RallyHub. They are completely free, do not require a DUPR account, and every result is saved to your match history.
How to Play a Casual Match
Step 1: Create a Match
Open the RallyHub mobile app, tap “Record Match”, and choose your format (Singles or Doubles). You can optionally select a venue for the match.
Step 2: Add Players
There are three ways to add players to your match:
- Select from profiles — tap a player slot and search for an existing player by name
- Scan QR code — scan another player's passport QR code to add them instantly
- Add as guest — type a name to add someone who does not have a RallyHub account
Step 3: Record the Score
Enter the final score for the match and tap “Record Match”. Your team is automatically marked as verified.
Step 4: Opposing Team Verifies
The opposing team reviews the result and either accepts or rejects it. If accepted, the match is locked and fully verified. If rejected, the match is voided.
Guest Players
You can add players who do not have a RallyHub account as guests by simply typing their name. If a guest later signs up for RallyHub, they can claim their guest profile and all of their previous matches will automatically appear in their match history.
After Verification
Once both teams have verified, the match becomes permanent. The score cannot be edited or deleted. The result is saved in every participant's match history, and the venue is added to each player's passport. Casual matches are not submitted to DUPR.
